The SmartEVSE can dynamically adjust the maximum power the Electric Vehicle will charge with. It supports a charging socket with locking actuator, or fixed charge cable. Up to eight SmartEVSE's can be connected together to allow for load balancing between charging stations.
This RFID card reader can be used to build a charging station that can be unlocked with a RFID (Mifare) card. This reader is waterproof, and can be mounted on the outside of an enclosure.
A maximum of 100 cards can be stored on the SmartEVSE controller.
This reader can be used with the OCPP feature of the SmartEVSE (software version 3.7.2 or newer)
Update the firmware of the SmartEVSE to version 3.6.10 or newer. Older firmware versions will not be able to read RFID cards with this reader. RFID readers sold before November 2024 will not work correctly with the OCPP function.
